First Generation Rolls-Royce Ghost (2009–2020)
The Rolls-Royce Ghost, a luxury class saloon designed to reinvigorate the company's sales and brand reputation, debuted at the 2009 IAA in Frankfurt, Germany. British and European deliveries started in late 2009, whereas those to other regions (such as the United States and Asia-Pacific) didn't start until the second quarter of 2010. In 2011, the extended-wheelbase Ghost was introduced. Large, continuous surfaces run between carved horizontal lines, giving the car a majestic "Yacht Line" appearance. The mechanical components of the Rolls-Royce Ghost are centered on a steel monocoque with a double front bulkhead for improved engine noise insulation. The electronically controlled air ride system provides excellent stability and a floating feeling over road imperfections, which works in tandem with the double-wishbone front suspension. The automatic ZF transmission channels the 563 horsepower from the 6.6L V12 engine's two turbochargers to the rear wheels.

Second Generation Rolls-Royce Ghost (2021–Present)
Rolls-Royce has long been synonymous with a certain level of sophistication and class in the automobile business, and its vehicles have become symbols of wealth and success. The new Ghost was unveiled by the British firm in the year 2020. Rolls-Royce was the crown jewel of the British auto industry for more than a century. After being acquired by BMW in the late '90s, the company quickly expanded its offerings from a single model. The Phantom was the top-of-the-line model, while the Ghost was the entry-level model. Exterior Features
When designing their vehicles, Rolls-Royce paid no attention to aerodynamics. The brand's history can be seen in the large, huge front end with the straight-up and somewhat V-shaped radiator grille. All in all, the remainder of the design is solid. The cheerful facade was made that way, and users have well-received it. The back features just three simplistic lines of style; as such is the nature of everlasting artwork. Similar to the rest of the Rolls-Royce lineup, but with modern LED taillights, the rear is stunning. The wheels on this vehicle are sleek, 21 inches in diameter, and made of alloy. The Spirit of Ecstasy has been included in the hood as well. The iconic Pantheon Grille has been newly lighted, and we're not convinced if we love the change. The Ghost now seems like a moving nightclub, which is far from a refined appearance.
Interior Features
The new Rolls-Royce Ghost's interior is as sumptuous as any other model in the company's lineup. Imagine plush carpeting, leather that feels as good as it looks, real wood and metal embellishments, and maybe even a headliner that lights up with tiny LEDs to make it look like the stars are shining. A glowing inlay in the dashboard illuminates a night sky effect whenever the driver goes on the Ghost. The Ghost is powered by the same 6.7L V-12 found in the Cullinan SUV, producing 563 horsepower; Black Badge models increase that number to 592. There's not much need for speed, so the car's horsepower is virtually beside the point. You need torque to get that carefree experience. Even at low revs, the magnificent 627 lb-ft of torque is readily available. Instead of a string of little blasts, it gives the impression that a massive invisible hand is propelling the Ghost ahead. There is never a weakness in the Ghost's performance because of the quick torque availability. It works quickly in any circumstance you can imagine. An automatic eight-speed transmission handles the transmission, and all-wheel drive comes standard. We can't wait to put Rolls-Royce's boast that the Ghost can reach 60 mph in 4.6 seconds to the test at our proving ground. Rolls-Royce claims the new Ghost has a more athletic driving character than its predecessor. The company cites the car's all-wheel-steering system with 50/50 weight distribution as proof that driver enjoyment played a major role in the vehicle's design. Dimension-wise, the Rolls-Royce Ghost measures 5,545 mm (218.3 in) long, 1,979 mm (77.9 in) wide, and 1,572 mm (61.9 in) high. Its wheelbase measures 3,295 mm (129.7 in) and has a curb weight of 5,628 lbs (2,553 kg).
